We serve, as part of a joint venture and sub-consultant to the General Engineering Consultant (GEC) for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) in Atlanta, Georgia. As part of the GEC, Gude provides day-to-day engineering, project management and construction staffing . Gude, in conjunction with the other joint venture partners, acts as an extension of MARTA’s Engineering, Architecture and Construction Departments, with a professional and technical staff of project managers, engineers, safety/quality personnel and project controls specialists working full time at the MARTA offices. From designing and preparing contract documents to providing safety oversight for all projects under construction, MARTA looks to Gude to solve its day-to-day problems and support its internal staff.
Scope of Services
Gude is leading the PMO/Project Controls function which includes, Project Management, Scheduling, Cost Estimating,, Document Control/Configuration Management and DBE Administration. In addition, Gude is providing staff to joint venture teams working in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Management, Construction Administration, Construction Inspection, Safety, CADD and Information Technology.
